Joan Sullivan, longtime editor of Newfoundland and Labrador literary magazine, The Newfoundland Quarterly, speaks with Karl about the history of the magazine. In 2025 the NQ celebrated its 125th anniversary. Over that period most of Newfoundland and Labrador’s best writers, authors and thinkers have been published by the Quarterly.
