Earle McCurdy was a journalist and a politician; but for most of his life he worked in the labour movement, specifically in leadership positions with the fish harvesters union in Newfoundland and Labrador, now known as Unifor-FFAW. Ultimately, he headed the union in Newfoundland and Labrador. Karl Wells speaks with Earle about the history of the famous union.
